Jennifer is a distinguished community engagement strategist with over 20 years of experience in the non-profit sector, encompassing roles in volunteer work, community organizations, corporate partnerships, government initiatives, and faith-based programs. A native of Columbia, South Carolina, Jennifer now resides in Atlanta, Georgia with her husband and children.

Jennifer's academic credentials include a Bachelor of Arts from Spelman College in Atlanta, Georgia, and a Master of Public Administration from the University of Georgia in Athens, Georgia. Further enhancing her expertise, she is an ordained Itinerant Elder in the AME Church and a dedicated student at Columbia Theological Seminary in Decatur, Georgia.

As the President and CEO of J H Allen and Associates, LLC, Jennifer leads a consulting firm specializing in technical support and training for government grants, contracts, non-profit management, and community engagement. Her extensive knowledge and experience in managing and fostering donor relations have been instrumental in driving impactful community projects.

Jennifer’s vision for the Minerva Foundation, Inc is to discover and implement innovative strategies to maximize and leverage resources for community impact. As a committed leader, she excels in building and nurturing relationships with community funding partners, non-profits, and volunteers. Her focus areas include Education, Youth Mentoring, Health/Well-Being, Arts, Community Development, and Nonprofit Effectiveness, where she continually strives to drive meaningful and sustainable change.
